This was the day, we all, who knew and loved Cheryl will remember always. Late on the Saturday around 5 pm just back from some early xmas shopping Alistair and Cheryl dropped by Alistair's Mum and Dad's house. After going to the toilet Cheryl was some time and when called never replied. The door was forced open and Cheryl was lying on the floor her heart had stopped. Later on her way to hospital her heart stopped twice more. Taken into Wishaw General Hospital Cheryl never regained conciousness,Alistair was there every moment sitting with Cheryl night and day her best friend to the last. On Monday 20th October at 3.15pm on a cold and wet afternoon. Our precious girl, wife, and loving Daughter closed her eyes forever her life was over so very young. Looking back how excited we were that second afternoon as her eyes opened for the first time, it was not too be as they closed again in an instant she never saw the many people around her who loved her dearly . None of us ever really realise how each normal day may someday be such a precious and momentous time. We, Mum and Dad also looked on life this way but that is how life happens I suppose. Only with such tragic outcomes do we see how much of the everyday happenings we took for granted. Who knows how any day might end, looking back on our devastating circumstance may show how we all need to treat every day so differently. Life is so fragile. As loved ones go about their daily lives do we ever stop and say all we might later wish we had said. When are we to know it may be the last chance we might have. Who knows what tomorrow may bring. Just a thought for us all. God in heaven is so lucky to have this precious girl in his care Alistair, Marion, Ian Click Picture to enlarge >>>>>
